Ubuntu Mirror

Healing Market Co. was my first permanent residency. Here, a reiki healer and friend first seriously gave me space to exhibit my art. After seeing the first mirror piece I created, she gave me two extra mirrors she had to make more. Ubuntu is an African philosophy of humanity to others: "I am what I am because of who we all are." We all deserve respect and humanity, we are all connected and flourish together. While art can be created alone, in the end it has connected me to so many people and made me feel loved in completely new ways. The majority of my materials are given me by those in my life, my art is a direct result of loving community.

Each piece is lovingly crafted with the most durable of materials so you can enjoy it until the stars fall down. But if you ever need to clean your piece, a little bit of soap and water will do.

10% of all sales are donated to the Unist'ot'en Legal Defense Fund to help support our siblings who fight for our lands and who just want peace.
